Call MTM Health any time, day or night, using your health plan’s toll‑free number. MTM Health does not schedule rides to the emergency room. If you have a medical emergency, call 911.

  • Be ready for your ride at least 90 minutes before your appointment. You may arrive 15 to 60 minutes before your appointment starts.

Call MTM Health if:

  • Your ride is more than 15 minutes late, or
  • You are waiting for a return ride and it has been more than one hour, or
  • You cannot reach your driver

You may ask for a certain provider when you call. MTM Health cannot guarantee this request.

You cannot choose the type of vehicle. MTM Health assigns the ride that best meets your medical and physical needs. We may review this with your doctor. Based on your needs, your ride may be:

  • A sedan if you can walk from your door to the vehicle.
  • A wheelchair‑equipped vehicle if you use a mobility device
  • Gas mileage reimbursement if a friend or family member drives you
  • Public transit, if you can safely walk to and from a nearby bus stop

If you disagree with a decision to deny, stop, or reduce services, you may file an appeal by calling the toll‑free number on the back of your health plan ID card.
