Call us a minimum of 24 hours in advance when possible. The agent you speak with will cancel with the transportation provider.

An urgent ride is an unscheduled episodic situation in which there is no immediate threat to life or limb, but the member must be seen on the day of the request, and treatment cannot be delayed until the next day. This may also include hospital discharges. MTM Health does not provide emergency transportation that pertains to life-threatening medical situations, significant trauma, comas, shock, uncontrolled bleeding, respiratory distress, poisoning, drug overdose, or any other situation where immediate medical relief or treatment is necessary. Please call 911 in the case of a medical emergency.

MTM Health uses the most cost-effective and medically appropriate mode of transportation. A healthcare provider may be required to fill out the Level of Need (LON) form.

MTM Health can schedule recurring trips, eliminating the need to schedule each trip individually.

The MTM Link Facility Portal allows medical facilities and health care providers to manage transportation for the members they serve at their convenience. Trips are scheduled, modified, cancelled, and confirmed online instead of calling MTM Health’s contact center. To get access and learn how to use MTM Link, reach out to CO-TX@mtm-inc.net.

Use the actual time the member needs to arrive at the facility. For the return ride, use the actual time the member will be ready to leave the facility. If the return time is unknown at the reservation time, MTM Health will assign the return trip as a will-call trip. In this case, you will call MTM Health when the member is ready for their ride home. A transportation provider will arrive within one hour following a will-call request.
