MARTA’s Successful Implementation

MTM’s new Mobility Assessment Evaluator Team for the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) assessments contract completed 13 interviews and functional assessments for MARTA Mobility ADA paratransit applicants today on the contract’s go-live date. MTM collaborated with MARTA’s eligibility staff, reduced fare staff, and travel trainers to provide a “one-stop shop” for applicants to receive training. Each appointment consisted of an in-person interview, a functional assessment if needed, a program orientation, and information on fixed route reduced fare and free travel training opportunities.  

At the end of the day, all staff and supervisors debriefed and gave MTM excellent feedback regarding process development, facilitation of process flow, and and an extra layer of customer service for MARTA and its applicants. As with any new contract, improvements will be made over the next weeks and months. MTM has successfully met the initial expectations and commitments of our contract.

Congratulations to this new team on an outstanding job over the past couple of weeks completing their NTI Comprehensive ADA Paratransit Eligiblity training and their crash course in-house training, remaining flexible and energetic throughout.
