MTM Employees Wear Purple in Honor of International Women’s Day

Every year, March 8 marks a significant celebration: International Women’s Day. It’s a day to celebrate the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women worldwide. At MTM, we believe in recognizing and honoring the contributions of women not just on this day, but every day. This year in honor of the holiday, MTM employees nationwide, a staff base that is more than 60% female, came together to celebrate in a colorful and powerful way—by wearing purple.

Purple symbolizes various aspects of International Women’s Day, from justice and dignity to solidarity and equality. It’s a color that embodies the strength and resilience of women across the globe. As an organization committed to diversity, inclusion, and empowerment, it was only natural for MTM to join in the wave of purple to #InspireInclusion—the 2024 International Women’s Day theme.

From coast to coast, employees donned their purple attire with pride. From purple shirts to scarves, ties, and even purple accessories, the sea of purple was not just a display of fashion, but a demonstration of support and solidarity.

International Women’s Day is about more than celebrating the achievements of women; it also acknowledges the importance of diversity and inclusion in our workplaces and communities.
