Join MTM’s Phil Stalboerger for a TAHP Discussion on Social Determinants of Health

While their annual Texas Covered event may be virtual this year, the Texas Association of Health Plans (TAHP)’s online forums are keeping Texas health plans covered throughout fall 2020! With panels covering all aspects of the healthcare spectrum, Texas Covered brings together the state’s health plans, healthcare providers, regulators, academics, and more to form the largest event of its kind in Texas.

We’re excited to announce that our own Vice President of Public Affairs Phil Stalboerger will be leading the October 20, 2020 forum Beyond Health Care: Addressing Prevention, Social Barriers to Care & Population Health Improvement. During this event, Phil and his fellow panelists will discuss how the COVID-19 crisis has drawn attention to how health-related social needs affect community health at both the individual and population health levels. The forum will also explore innovative benefits and programs that meet families where they live, work, and play — helping them overcome social barriers and access the care they need to get healthy and stay healthy.
