RoutingBox Integrates with the MTM Link Platform via Next Generation API

As MTM continues to roll out our proprietary MTM Link platform to our nationwide non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) operations, we’re excited to announce that we have officially integrated with a new preferred routing, scheduling, and dispatching (RSD) partner: RoutingBox. The integration, achieved through a next generation API-based approach, allows our transportation provider partners who currently utilize RoutingBox to take advantage of the benefits of our MTM Link platform, while continuing to use their existing third-party RSD solution. The integration is currently being piloted by the Chicago-based Widerange Transportation.

“While we encourage transportation providers to utilize MTM Link and the accompanying driver app as their main RSD solution, we’re proud to offer API integration for convenience and ease of use,” said MTM President and CEO Alaina Maciá. “Our ability to support our providers’ RSD system of choice is a key differentiator in MTM’s mobile app and technology strategy. With the support of preferred RSD partners like RoutingBox, we have the ability to push and pull data—including live GPS tracking—between MTM Link and the software our providers already use.”

With integrations like this, transportation providers can use their existing RSD platform to seamlessly exchange real-time data with the MTM Link scheduling and dispatching platform, including pick-up, drop-off, and arrival time stamps and GPS data. Using this data, MTM and our clients have visibility into network performance, including real-time trip status and vehicle tracking. The integration also allows transportation providers to be more efficient and claim their trips faster by automatically transferring claims data to MTM upon trip completion. MTM’s ultimate goal is to offer API integration with other comparable RSD software solutions used by our network.

“Many of our transportation providers have taken great care in selecting their RSD solutions,” Maciá continued. “We respect their investments and desire to maintain uniformity across their operations, and are excited to offer them a versatile and flexible approach to integrating with MTM Link—all while allowing us to give our members and clients the transparency they deserve.”

About MTM Link

MTM Link is MTM’s proprietary RSD platform built specifically for the NEMT industry. The platform can be used on any type of tablet or smartphone, meaning transportation providers aren’t required to purchase a new system to use the platform. Transportation providers within MTM’s network who use the platform have the option to utilize the MTM Link Provider Portal and Mobile App to accept trips, claim trips, and document real-time pick-up, drop-off, and arrival time stamps and GPS data. MTM Link also offers portals and mobile apps for members and medical facilities, allowing rides to be scheduled, cancelled, and confirmed using self-serve technology. As a whole, the MTM Link platform allows MTM to be proactive rather than reactive, offering real-time visibility and transparency into NEMT performance for all stakeholders.
