Why Maternal and Infant Health Matters
For too many Medicaid families, transportation challenges lead to missed prenatal visits, delayed postpartum care, and limited access to critical support services—putting mothers and babies at risk. At MTM Health, we’re breaking down these barriers with non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) solutions, including on-demand rides, specially trained drivers, and concierge-level coordination to ensure pregnant and postpartum members get the care they need, when they need it.
What You’ll Learn in the Webinar
During the webinar, we shared how MTM Health collaborates with health plans and communities to improve maternal and infant outcomes. By combining NEMT with Mobile Integrated Health (MIH) solutions, our certified Community Health Workers bring care directly to members’ homes, connecting them with midwives, doulas, and chronic condition management resources. We also highlighted:
- Success stories from Medicaid members who’ve benefited from our programs
- Our role in supporting states participating in the Transforming Maternal Health (TMaH) Model
- Proven strategies for fostering healthier beginnings for mothers and babies in rural, suburban, and urban communities
We hope you found the session insightful and inspiring. MTM Health’s approach is all about building trust, empowering mothers, and driving better health outcomes for Medicaid families. Whether you joined us live or are watching the recording, thank you for being part of this important conversation to create healthier beginnings for mothers and babies!
