For the past several years, MTM has worked with the Medical Transportation Access Coalition (MTAC), our fellow NEMT brokers, and legislators to introduce legislation that strengthens access to NEMT services for Medicaid members. Now, we’re excited to join MTAC in celebrating the enactment of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2021, which includes language that will codify the Medicaid NEMT benefit into law. Learn more about this exciting step forward!
While their annual Texas Covered event may be virtual this year, TAHP’s online forums are continuing to keep Texas health plans covered throughout fall 2020! On October 20, our own Phil Stalboerger will lead the “Beyond Health Care: Addressing Prevention, Social Barriers to Care & Population Health Improvement” forum. Join us for an in-depth look at how social determinants of health are powerful influencers on outcomes, utilization, and costs, and to learn how we can break down these barriers through quality transportation services.
Focused on establishing and maintaining relationships with legislative partners and educating current and prospective clients on the importance of NEMT, MTM is pleased to announce the addition of Matt Geitner to our Public Affairs team. Welcome to MTM, Matt!
The MTM team is excited to exhibit at this year’s annual Medicaid Innovations Forum. Catch us at booth #5 from February 4 – 6 to learn more about how MTM can help your Medicaid managed care plan expand coverage, improve quality, and control costs.
