As former President and CEO and current Chairman of the Board, Peg Griswold cares deeply about the corporate direction of MTM. "I may be viewing the company from a different vantage point these days, but I will always care deeply about the direction MTM is taking and I fully intend to keep my finger firmly on the pulse of MTM's future," she said during a recent retirement speech. Having personally conceptualized and developed MTM, Peg spearheaded every step of the way as the company has grown and provided the highest quality service to its customers and communities.
From the founding of the business, MTM has experienced consistent and superior leadership from Peg whose philosophy is for MTM to be the best partner in transportation provider management, passenger service, client service and even as an employer. She has created trend-setting policies and attention to detail for MTM clients to be assured they have entrusted their members, recipients and passengers to a premier medical transportation management company.
Peg draws from her diverse background and 35-plus years in high-level management. She was director of a nationwide social services program, which served low income, single mothers on welfare and Medicaid. She also held management positions in a hospital, a 52-physician community mental health center, and served as director of exporting for a major international manufacturer -- a position that centered on transportation issues. Since opening MTM in 1995, her efforts have been spent wholly on the management of non-emergency medical transportation for Medicaid, Medicare, and a variety of medical institutions.
